Privacy and Servers

System Architecture

We are advocates of Internet privacy and Hotline architecture is created according to these principles.

Unlike systems based on web interfaces (where message bodies need to be saved to later show them in external interface relative to Telegram), Hotline architecture allows not storing message bodies on our servers at all.

Message bodies do not leave Telegram and are stored in your working group, owned by the system administrator (you), as well as on frontends (your accounts or bots). When deleting session, messages in group, or removing Hotline bot from backend group, it loses ability to access messages.

What is stored on our servers?

System servers only have forwarding logs and data about matching identifiers of received and sent messages, exclusively for last 3 months.

We do not store tokens of bots connected to system (sessions for bots are created once during connection).

Server Location

For stable operation of such industrial streaming message translator (between frontends and their backend groups), not only server performance and reliability are important, but also good network connectivity with main Telegram infrastructure.

Our microservice cloud infrastructure is assembled in Netherlands under Kubernetes management in Google Cloud, near main European Telegram data center.

Such solution allows achieving two key goals:

  1. Improving overall system speed;
  2. Ensuring stability during regional network failures or blockages.
